The terms you agree to.
slsh.me turns your long URL into a short one and sends visitors on to wherever you point it. That last part is the whole agreement: you choose the destination, so the destination is your responsibility.

Accepting these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Stqn Technology SRL (“slsh.me”, “we”, “us”). You accept them by creating an account or by using the service. If you are using slsh.me for an employer or client, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on their behalf.
We may revise these terms; see section 13. When we do, we ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in, and continued use of the service means you accept the version then in force.
What the service is
slsh.me creates short URLs that redirect visitors to a destination you choose, and records analytics about those visits. Features are provided free of charge and as they are. We do not promise any particular level of availability, and we may add, change or withdraw features at any time.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything done through your account and API tokens.
Your destination, your responsibility
A short link is a pointer. We do not host, control, review or endorse whatever sits at the other end of yours — you do.
The core obligation
You warrant that every URL you point a slsh.me link at, and all content and behaviour at that URL, complies with all applicable law and with the published policies of the platforms and services that classify, filter or display links.
That expressly includes Google Safe Browsing and the policies enforced through Google Search Console, and the equivalent policies of other search engines, browser safe-browsing services, social networks, messaging apps, email providers and anti-malware vendors.
This warranty applies for as long as the link exists, not only at the moment you create it. If you re-point a link, or if the destination you control changes, you are responsible for the destination as it is at any given time. Pointing a link at a third party’s site does not transfer that responsibility to them.
Destinations you may not use
You may not create, keep or share a slsh.me link that leads, directly or through any further redirect, to:
- Phishing or credential harvesting — any page designed to obtain passwords, payment details, one-time codes or other credentials by pretending to be someone else.
- Malware or unwanted software — viruses, ransomware, spyware, cryptominers, drive-by downloads, or software installed without informed consent.
- Fraud and scams — fake stores, advance-fee and investment fraud, cryptocurrency giveaway scams, fake support lines, deceptive subscription traps.
- Deceptive impersonation — passing yourself off as another person, business, bank or public authority.
- Content that is illegal under any law applicable to you or to us, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the competent authorities without exception.
- Infringement of another party’s copyright, trade marks or other intellectual property.
- Doxxing, harassment or material that incites violence against a person or group.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging — using slsh.me links in spam sent over email, SMS or any messaging platform.
You also may not use the service to circumvent a suspension, a blocked address, or any technical limit we apply.
No cloaking or scanner evasion
The destination must resolve to the same content for us, for security scanners, and for the people who click your link. Serving different content depending on user agent, referrer, IP address, geography, device or visit count in order to hide the real destination from classification is itself a breach of these terms, regardless of what that destination turns out to be.
We may fetch, follow and inspect any destination at any time, including automatically and repeatedly, to check compliance with these terms. Our link masking feature displays a destination inside a frame under your short URL; it is provided for branding and must not be used to conceal a destination that would otherwise breach this section.
Enforcement
Removal without notice
We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, disable or delete any link, suspend or close any account or workspace, revoke any API token, and refuse to provide the service, where we consider that these terms have been or may have been breached.
We are not obliged to notify you before or after we act, to give reasons, or to preserve any link, analytics data or other content we remove. We are not liable to you or to anyone else for any loss arising from acting under this section, including lost traffic, lost revenue or broken printed material.
A link of yours causing slsh.me or any of our domains to be
flagged, blocklisted or penalised by a third party — a
safe-browsing service, a search engine, a mail provider, a hosting or
registrar abuse desk — is by itself sufficient grounds to act under
this section, whether or not we conclude that you intended the breach.
We may act on a whole account rather than a single link where the circumstances warrant it, including suspending the workspaces you created and the links in them. If you believe we have acted in error, write to abuse@slsh.me and we will review it, though we do not guarantee reinstatement.
Refusing service
We may refuse to create, restore or maintain an account for any person, business or email address whose account we have previously closed for a breach of these terms, and we may block email addresses and domains from registering for that reason. Attempting to evade such a block by registering under another address is a further breach.
Reporting abuse
If you have received a slsh.me link you believe breaches these terms, report it to abuse@slsh.me. Please include the full short URL, what you saw at the destination, and roughly when you encountered it. A screenshot helps.
We review abuse reports promptly and act on the ones we can verify. We cannot always tell you what action we took, and we do not pass your details to the reported account holder.
Records and legal requests
We keep records about the links you create and the visits they receive — including destination URLs, timestamps, IP-derived location, device, browser and referrer — and we retain them after a link or account is removed for as long as we need them to operate the service, handle abuse and meet our legal obligations.
We may disclose those records to law enforcement, regulators or other competent authorities where we are legally required to, or where we consider it necessary to investigate a breach of these terms or to protect the safety of others.

Your account and closing it
You may stop using slsh.me at any time. When a link is deleted or an account is closed — by you or by us — the short URLs stop resolving. Anyone who clicks them afterwards reaches an unavailable-link page rather than your destination.
Short links are permanent-looking things that end up in print, in QR codes and in other people’s messages. Please keep that in mind before deleting them.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind beyond what the law requires us to give. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that analytics will be complete or accurate, or that any link will resolve indefinitely.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or loss of goodwill. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which is normally nothing, as the service is free — or EUR 100.
You will indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from a destination you pointed a link at or from your breach of these terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The current version is always published on this page with its version identifier and last-updated date. When we make a material change we ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Who you are contracting with
These terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of the registered seat of Stqn Technology SRL have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
