Why creators use slsh.me

The preview you control, on any link.

You share a link to a Google Doc, a Notion page, a Linktree, an unstyled product page — and the preview card shows a random title and no image. slsh.me serves the OG image, title, and description from the short URL itself, so the preview is on-brand on every platform that fetches it.

Custom OG on any destination

Set the OG image, title, and description on the short link. Works even if the destination has no OG tags at all.

Brand-consistent everywhere

Add a custom domain and every short link comes out on go.yourbrand.com instead of slsh.me. URL, preview, QR — all on-brand.

Editable after the share

Updated the cover image? Re-export the doc? Edit the OG values, ask the platform to refetch, the preview updates.

QR for the offline drops

Every link gets a QR code automatically. PNG or SVG, ready for posters, packaging, and tote bags.

The workflow

Three steps, every drop.

Drop in the destination

Paste the long URL — product page, Notion doc, YouTube link. slsh.me generates a short slug you can edit.

Set the preview

Upload an OG image (or pick from your library), write the title and description. Live preview shows how it’ll look on Twitter, LinkedIn, iMessage.

Share it on-brand

Post the short link anywhere. The custom preview shows up. Pull the QR for the offline channels.

Questions

The honest answers.

Can I customize the social preview for a short link?
Yes. Each short link can carry its own Open Graph image, title, and description. When the link is shared on Twitter, LinkedIn, iMessage, WhatsApp, or any platform that fetches OG tags, your custom preview is what shows up — not the destination’s.
Does the custom preview work even if the destination has no OG tags?
Yes. slsh.me serves the OG tags itself on the short URL, so the preview works on any destination — including pages that have no OG tags, broken OG tags, or OG tags you can’t change (a Google Doc, a Notion page, a Linktree).
Can I edit the OG preview after the link is shared?
Yes — edit the OG image, title, or description from the dashboard and slsh.me serves the new values immediately. Some platforms cache the preview from the first share; on those, use the platform’s debugger (Twitter Card Validator, LinkedIn Post Inspector, Facebook Sharing Debugger) to force a refetch.
Can I use my own domain for branded creator links?
Yes. Add a custom domain (e.g. go.yourbrand.com) in the dashboard, point a CNAME at slsh.me, and every short link comes out on your brand instead of slsh.me. The OG preview, the URL, and the QR code all carry your brand.
Can I generate a QR code for my short links?
Yes. Every short link gets a QR code automatically — download as PNG or SVG from the dashboard. Useful for in-person events, product packaging, posters, or anywhere a tappable link won’t reach.
